Your role

As a Technical Diploma Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a real-world manufacturing environment. You will work closely with their experienced technicians and engineers to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of their production systems. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and enhance their technical skills while contributing to the efficiency and productivity of their factory operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of factory equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Support the engineering team in conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize factory performance and safety.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Document technical activities, including maintenance records, incident reports, and process changes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or mentor.

Training & development 

This internship will provide hands-on experience in a professional setting, allowing the intern to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. In general, Intel provides its employees with various training and development programs. The company’s internal training organization is called IDL and it offers over 7,000 courses that cover job development, and personal and career growth. Work-life balance

About you

If you're interested in this role, you need to have the following qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a technical diploma program in a relevant field (e.g., industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical engineering technology).
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
