Your role

PETRONAS is looking for an independent and energetic Intern to work in the Sourcing section. The intern will be working closely with the Sourcing team in analyzing contract performance and monitoring and data analysis. Preferrable for internship duration of minimum 6 months.

Training & development

PETRONAS Internship Opportunity Program provides undergraduates with experiential learning opportunities and first working exposure in the energy industry. You can engage in various areas of a global company’s operations.

You will be encouraged to undergo industrial training related to your respective fields of study. Places for industrial training are limited, depending on the availability of various departments and subsidiaries within PETRONAS. However, you may also seek placement with organizations in the country where you are studying.

Work-life balance

Typically, the working hours here are 9 hours per day (08:00 AM to 05:00 PM), Monday to Friday (45 hours per week). About you

In general, here are the requirements for the internship at PETRONAS Malaysia:

• The application is open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Undergraduate degree from local or overseas higher learning institutions where internship is a mandatory part of course completion in disciplines relevant to PETRONAS.
• Diploma from local or overseas higher learning institutions where the internship is a mandatory part of course completion in TECHNICAL or ENGINEERING disciplines relevant to PETRONAS.
• The minimum duration for an internship is eight (8) weeks and a maximum of eight (8) months.
