Our Mission

Give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.

Culture

At Facebook, we are constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to connect people all over the world. That’s why it’s important that our workforce reflects the diversity of the people we serve. Hiring people with different backgrounds and points of view helps us make better decisions, build better products and create better experiences for everyone.

The vibe of the place

An ideal candidate for Facebook embodies a daring personality that’s willing to learn and strive to make things better.

Freshers should focus on the company’s motto of moving fast and being bold to succeed in their job applications. While work tends to move quickly, the fast-paced culture presents an opportunity to accomplish something big from the get-go.

Recruitment Process

Facebook allows up to three job applications every 90 days. The company encourages freshers to apply for roles that strongly reflect their experience and skills.

If someone is unsure about meeting the requirements, insiders said that the company is inclined to value a candidate’s skills over experience. In other words, freshers should self-reflect on how their skill set matches the job’s demands.

The selection process mostly involves a written test and several rounds of interviews with potential colleagues and the hiring manager. A company executive shared these tips to prepare for interviews:

  • Reflect on who you are
  • Know your strengths
  • Identify your passion

More importantly, Facebook attracts a lot of applicants who can solve problems. The ones who stand out are passionate about learning and making things better, as well as having a ‘builder’ mindset.

The company may complete the hiring process in as fast as three weeks.
